In Memory of Chaos

Chaos came to the Saukville Veterinary Clinic in June of 2006.  He was diagnosed with diabetes and his owners could not afford to take care of him and were considering euthanasia.  The staff at the clinic realized what a nice cat he was and decided we wanted to try to find a new home for him instead of euthanasia.  Therefore, we took him into the clinic.  We started treating for the diabetes and worked on finding him a home.  Over time, he started growing on us and became a part of the clinic family.  He got along with the other clinic cats and just seemed to fit in.  We decided that due to the necessary medical care he needed the best home for him was at the clinic.

On November 13, 2007, we lost Chaos due to serious illness.  He fought a week before he passed away.   Even though he was only with us a short time, he made a big impact at the clinic.  He will be missed sitting on the receptionist chairs, sitting in the mail basket greeting the postman, sitting on the counter eating his food, helping in puppy classes, or laying on the phone while you tried to work.  I am sure our clients will miss him greeting them or chasing after the dog leashes.  He did not seem to be afraid of anything.  Despite his name, he was one of the most laid-back cats we ever knew and very loving.  We will miss him at the clinic.
