Exams at least once a year, or twice a year for the geriatric pets are important for your pet’s continued good health. We examine your pet’s weight, ears, skin, coat, eyes, paws, nails, lungs, heart and temperature, etc. We provide all vaccinations required to keep your pet safe from diseases, and offer preventative flea control and heartworm disease products.

Radiology and Ultrasonography
Our radiology facility is equipped with a high-quality x-ray machine and a radiograph processor that enable us to have x-rays available for viewing within minutes. With our x-ray machine we are able to take radiographs, cystograms, barium series or the intestinal tract, pregnancy check, and intravenous pyelogram. We also have a state-of-the-art ultrasound machine that provides our veterinarians a non-invasive way to get images of internal organs within seconds, as well as aiding the doctor in performing guided biopsies. We are able to do abdominal, thoracic, and cardiac ultrasounds. |

An endoscope allows us to picture the inside of the esophagus, stomach, intestines, and colon without having to surgically cut the abdomen. We are also able to get small biopsy pieces of the these structures without surgery. General anesthesia is needed though to do this procedure. |

We provide Home Again Microchip implantation, a permanent way to identify your pet. This is a small chip that is injected under the animal’s skin that can be read by a scanner that most humane societies, police stations, and veterinary clinics have if an animal is brought in after being lost. The animals number is then stored in a national database with the owner’s information. |

We have a fully-equipped pharmacy (including vitamins, shampoos, and heartworm and flea preventatives). This allows you to take your pet’s medications home with you after your appointment. If you need a refill on a prescription, you can call it into our pharmacy and pick it up at your convenience. We try to have all drugs available that your pet will need. However, if your pet ever needs a medication that we do not carry, we will find out where to get it for you. In addition, our staff is here to answer any questions you may have about your pet’s medication. |
