Veterinarians

Dr. Paul J. Sheperd, DVM graduated from UW- Madison Veterinary School in May of 1987.  He then began working at the Saukville/ Cedarburg Veterinary Clinic.  He became sole owner of the Saukville Veterinary Clinic in May of 2003.  His veterinary interests are in Exotic medicine especially reptiles and avian, general surgery, and cardiology.  He works full time at the clinic with Tuesdays being his day off.  Outside of the clinic he enjoys spending time with his family and friends and spending time outdoors hiking, fishing, and watching nature.  His hobbies are woodworking, making stain glass objects, and fixing things around the house and clinic.  He is married to Donna and they have 2 children Tiffany and Travis.  They have 2 cats named Faye and Fiona, 2 tortoises, and a pet turtle.

Dr. Jennifer Hinz, DVM, graduated from Purdue University in may 2004.  She started working at 2004.  She works full time at the clinic with Thursdays being her day off.  Her veterinary interests are in feline medicine, preventative medicine, and abdominal ultrasound.  Outside the clinic she enjoys being outdoors doing different things such as hiking and camping.  She also enjoys spending time with family and friends.  Her favorite sports are NASCAR and Purdue football.  Her hobbies are cross-stitching, reading, going to movies, and learning new things.  She is married and has 5 cats named Wonder, Dizzy, Lily, Gunner, and Zoe.

Dr. Jennifer Stephani, DVM, graduated from the University of Madison in May 2006.  She started working at the clinic in July 2007.  She works full time with Wednesdays being her day off.  She has spent the past year completing an internship working with specialists in dermatology, neurology, internal medicine, and critical care.   Her veterinary interests are puppy behavior, internal medicine and exotics.  When she’s not working she enjoys snowboarding, listening to music, going to movies, rollerblading and scuba diving.  Her favorite sports are Badger football and hockey.  At home she has four pets; a dog named Chicho, 2 cats named Ty and Tsunmi, and finally a bearded dragon named Tortuga

Certified Veterinary Technician

Jamie CVT became a certified veterinary technician in August 2005 after graduating from Madison Area Technical College and has been working at the clinic since June 2005.  During high school she worked caring for animals at a kennel which lead her to pursuing a career in helping animals.  She also has an interest in animal behavior and teaches our puppy class here at the clinic which is offered Wednesday nights for puppies 2 to 4 months of age.  She owns one cat of her own named Rudy.

Veterinary Assistants

Lindsay started working at the clinic in April 2007 as a vet assistant.  She loves all kinds of animals.  Lindsay currently owns 4 horses which she competes with in barrel racing.  She also has 3 dogs named Dakota, Madison, and Snowy; 2 cats’ names Simba and Elbie; a bird named Scooter; and a guinea pig named Speedy.

Kari is currently working toward becoming a certified technician through Moraine Park Technical College.  She has now begun her second year.  When Kari is not working she enjoys being with her family, going to music festivals and horseback riding.  At home she has one dog named Jasmine and her dear lovebird named Alex.

Erin has been helping teach our puppy classes since the summer of 2005, and began working with animals 8 years ago.  She is a member of the Association of pet dog trainers and is working toward her certification as a certified professional dog trainer.  She is married with one son along with 3 dogs, a cat, a parrot, and chickens.

Kennel Assistant

Rachel Rachel started working here part time in September 2007.  She enjoys all animals and owns many of her own.  She enjoys competing in 3-day events with her horse, Marek.  She is currently going to school at UWM and UWWC and is considering pre-med.  She is also a black belt in Tae- Kwon do.

Receptionist/Veterinary Assistant

Barb loves working at the clinic because she likes being part of a team that provides quality veterinary care for our family members.  She has one daughter and 2 cats who mean the world to her.

Receptionists

Judy loves working at the Saukville Veterinary Clinic because it gives her the opportunity to work with both people and animals.  Her interests in animals began growing up on a dairy farm and being involves in 4H.  She is married with 4 children, 2 grandchildren, and 2 dogs named Isabelle (Izzy), and Lacey that keep her busy when she is not working.

Jill has enjoyed working at the clinic over the past couple of years.  She likes all animals, especially cats.  She is married with 2 cats named Blackie and Smokey, and 2 parakeets.

Cindy enjoys working here at the Saukville Veterinary Clinic because of the family atmosphere and care given to all the animals and people. Everyday is a different challenge. She is married with 2 children, 2 grandchildren and 2 dogs of her own.

Teri has enjoyed working at the clinic for many years as a part time receptionist.  She grew up on a dairy farm and now her father owns a buffalo farm.  Teri is married with three children, 1 boy, and 2 girls, a yellow lab named Max and a cat named Fuzzy.

Lisa's began working at the clinic in August 2007.  She enjoys working at the clinic because of her love for animals and the family environment.  Lisa is married with two boys ages 8 and 12.  At home, she has two dogs named Tasha and Shadow and one cat named Bailey
