Veterinarians

Dr. Paul J. Sheperd, DVM graduated from UW- Madison Veterinary School in May of 1987.  He then began working at the Saukville/ Cedarburg Veterinary Clinic.  He became sole owner of the Saukville Veterinary Clinic in May of 2003.  His veterinary interests are in Exotic medicine especially reptiles and avian, general surgery, and cardiology.  He works full time at the clinic with Tuesdays being his day off.  Outside of the clinic he enjoys spending time with his family and friends and spending time outdoors hiking, fishing, and watching nature.  His hobbies are woodworking, making stained glass objects, and fixing things around the house and clinic.  He is married to Donna and they have 2 children Tiffany and Travis.  They have 2 cats named Faye and Fiona, 2 tortoises, and a pet turtle.

Dr. Jennifer Hinz, DVM, graduated from Purdue University in May 2004. She started working at the clinic full-time with Thursdays being her day off in 2004. Her veterinary interests are in feline medicine, preventative medicine, and abdominal ultrasound. Outside the clinic she enjoys being outdoors doing different things such as hiking and camping. She also enjoys spending time with family and friends. Her favorite sports are narcar and Purdue football. Her hobbies are cross-stiching, reading, going to movies, and learning new things. She is married and has 2 girls names Kaelyn and Mikayla. At home she has 4 cats names Dizzy, Wonder, Gunner, and Squeaky. She also has a German Shorthair Pointer named Bella.

Dr. Stephanie DeJardin, DVMDr. Stefanie DeJardin, DVM, started working at the cinic in December 2011. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin of Veterinary Science in 2010. She has special interests in diagnostic imaging, reproduction, and parasitology. Outside of work she keeps busy with her son Gipper, husband Adam, and a crazy lab/pointer mix named Raiden. She enjoys spending time outdoors doing just about anything. Dr. DeJardin loves meeting new people and their pets.

Certified Veterinary Technician

Jamie, CVT, became a certified veterinary technician in August 2005 after graduating from Madison Area Technical College and has been working at the clinic since June 2005.  During high school she worked caring for animals as a kennel worker which lead her to pursuing a career helping animals.  Her interests are in dog behavior and puppy training.  At home she has one cat named Rudy.

Veterinary Assistants

Lindsay started working at the clinic in April 2007 as a Veterinary Assistant. She loves all kinds of animals. Lindsay currently owns 3 horses which she compets with in barrel racing. She also has 3 dogs names Dakota, Madison, and Hana along with 3 cats names Simba, Elbie, and Nala. She is currently attending school working towards becoming a Certified Veterinary Technician.
Carrie started working at the clinic in September 2008. She started school in January 2010 and is working towards becoming a Certified Veterinary Technician. She has always loved all types of animals. She has a daughter named Nikki. At home she has a lab/husky mix named Mia, a cat named Hazel, a horse named Chance, and a Guinea Pig named Mistletoe.
Amber started working at the clinci in August 2009 as a Veterinary Assistant. She is currently going to school to become a certified Veterinary Technician. At home she has 3 Siberian Huskies named Rocky, Rambo, and Leela. She also has 5 cats named Jinx, Melvin, Moon, Oscar, and Nivek along with a painted turtle and a Russian tortoise. In her free time she enjoys disc golfing, taking walks with her dogs, and gardening.

Receptionists

Judy loves working at the Saukville Veterinary Clinic because it gives her the opportunity to work with both people and animals. Her interests in animals began growing up on a dairy farm and being involved in 4H. She is married with 4 children, 6 grandchildren, and 3 dogs named Zoe, Lacey, and Kit that keep her busy when she is not working.

Jill has enjoyed working at the clinic over the past couple of years.  She likes all animals, especially cats.  She is married and at home has 2 parakeets and 2 cats that she believes are the cutest in the world named Holly and Emma.

Cindy enjoys working here at the Saukville Veterinary Clinic because of the family atmosphere and care given to all the animals and people. Everyday is a different challenge. She is married with 2 children, 2 grandchildren and 2 dogs of her own.

Barb loves working at the clinic because she likes being part of a team that provides quality veterinary care for our family members.  She has one daughter and 3 cats that mean the world to her.

Lisa began working at the clinic in August 2007. She enjoys working at the clinic because of her love for animals and the family environment. Lisa is married with two boys. At home, she has two dogs named Tasha and Shadow.

 
Kennel Assistant
Becca started working at the clinic in September 2009 as a Kennel assistant. She is currently going to school to become a Certified Veterinary Technician. She is involved in 4-H and loves riding horses. She has one dog named Daisy Duke.
